METHODS OF APPLICATION
- 10 oz can - Great for small jobs - Approximately 30-40 sq. ft.
- Spray bottle or hand sprayer.
- Pump sprayer - Can be found at your local hardware store. Great for large jobs.
- Air compressor with paint attachment - Great for larger jobs or commercial application.
All methods of application require DCS 19 to be applied with a fine
mist at a spray distance of 10"-12" from the fabric / fibers being
treated.
AFTER-TREATMENT MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES:
- Use normal or regular cleaning on your fabric. This will prevent
the build-up of soiling and keep your fabric looking crisp and new.
- If a spill happens on the fabric, absorb it out of the fabric with a clean, damp cloth.
- If a stain has been allowed to dry, it will be necessary to
apply a little warm water to the spot to bring it back into solution
and then remove it from the fabric as in #2 above.
BIMINI TOP APPLICATION (Canvas/Sunbrella)
- Make sure top is clean and dry.
- DCS 19 Fabric Protectant can be applied with the top on or off the boat. It will not affect wood, metal, or gel coats.
- Apply DCS 19 Fabric Protectant liberally to the material.
- Allow 12 to 16 hours for DCS 19 Fabric Protectant to cure before using.
- If your boat has eisen glass, be sure to cover before applying DCS 19.

CAMPING GEAR APPLICATION
- All gear must be clean and dry.
- To apply on tent it is best if tent is assembled.
- Apply a medium to heavy coat of DCS 19.
- Allow 12-24 hours dry time.
CARPET / RUGS
- Area to be treated must be clean and dry
- Apply with fine mist applicator
- Use a medium to heavy coat of DCS 19.
- Using sweeping motion apply a thorough coat of DCS 19 holding applicator 10"-12" away from carpet.
- Let carpet dry 12-24 hours before foot traffic.

DRAPERY
- Fabric must be clean and dry.
- Apply DCS 19 with a light to medium coat making sure that all fibers are covered.
- DCS 19 can be applied to drapery while hanging. Use a drop
cloth on floor and wipe up any excess over spray after completion as
DCS 19 can be slippery when wet.
- Allow 12-24 hors dry time.
LEATHER / SUEDE
- Leather or suede must be clean and dry before application.
- Apply a medium to heavy coat making sure that area to be treated is covered.
- A sweeping motion is recommended as following the wet edge and working in small sections.
- Allow 12-24 hours dry time.
